Academics

The Haryana board syllabus, taught in Hindi medium from Class 1 to Class 12.

Our teaching follows the curriculum prescribed by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH). Classes run from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Saturday, and the academic session begins in April. Each class has a class teacher who is responsible for attendance, discipline and the progress record of every student in that section.

Primary (Classes 1–5)

Foundational literacy and numeracy in Hindi, English, Mathematics and Environmental Studies, with drawing, music and physical activity built into the weekly timetable.

Middle (Classes 6–8)

Secondary (Classes 9–10)

Senior Secondary (Classes 11–12)

Three streams are offered for the Class 12 BSEH examination. Stream allotment is based on Class 10 results and the student’s own preference.

Senior secondary streams

Stream allotment is decided after the Class 10 result, taking the marks obtained and the preference of the student and her parents into account.

Subject combinations depend on the availability of teaching staff and on the minimum number of students required for a section. Please confirm the current offering with the school office before making a decision.

Examinations and assessment

  • Unit tests through the session in every subject
  • Half-yearly examinations in September and October
  • Pre-board examinations for Classes 10 and 12
  • Annual examination in March, following the BSEH datesheet
  • Board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 conducted by BSEH

Beyond the timetable

  • Morning assembly with news reading and general knowledge
  • Annual sports day — kabaddi, kho-kho and athletics
  • Cultural programmes on Independence Day and Republic Day
  • Drawing, craft, music and yoga periods
  • Remedial periods for students who need extra help
