The campus is a pucca building with twenty-three classrooms, a library of 983 books, a computer lab with nineteen machines, a science laboratory and an open playground. A cooked mid-day meal is prepared on the premises and served every working day, and ramps make the classrooms reachable for students with disabilities.

  • Hindi medium, BSEH syllabus for Classes 1 to 12
  • Arts, Commerce and Science streams at senior secondary level
  • Government scholarship schemes explained and processed by the office
  • Day school — no boarding facility

Message from the Principal

Every girl who enrols here should leave with a Class 12 certificate

S.D. Kanya Mahavidyalya has stood in Narwana since 1967, and in that time this school has taught the daughters of thousands of families in this town and the villages around it. Many of our students are the first girls in their family to reach Class 12.

Our work is straightforward. We teach the Haryana board syllabus carefully and completely, we keep our classrooms disciplined and welcoming, and we make sure that no girl leaves her studies because her family cannot manage the cost. Scholarship and mid-day meal schemes are explained to every parent who walks into this office.

Education is not only the examination result. It is the confidence to speak, the habit of reading, and the understanding that a girl owns her own learning. That is what we try to give here, and I invite every parent in Narwana to come and see the school for themselves.
